Currently Research Associate at the Open University, I completed my Ph.D in “Post-colonial and Cultural Studies” at the University of Naples “L’Orientale” in 2010. My research fields range from postcolonial literature and theory to visual and gender studies. I have published articles on Anita Desai, Nalini Malani, contemporary Indian cinema and video-art, and on Shakespearean appropriations in a post-colonial perspective and co-edited, with L. Curti, the book Shakespeare in India (Roma: Editoria e Spettacolo, 2010).
